Five-star safari villas offer a private escape into the heart of Mashatu’s wilderness.

Eight villas, inspired by the graceful form of the Mopane pod, stand as a testament to the region’s intricate beauty. An oasis of space awaits, featuring indoor and outdoor showers, an outdoor “loo with a view,” and private plunge pools with stunning vistas of the surrounding wilderness.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by “The Nest” deck, which overlooks the reserve and the tranquil ravine below, offering spectacular views of Mashatu Game Reserve. Exclusivity is prioritized, with just four guests per safari vehicle.

Nights are illuminated with fireside enchantment, as up-lit euphorbia candelabra trees create an intimate, flavor-filled dining experience under the stars in the exclusive boma area.

The eight private villas include air conditioning, WiFi, a private wardrobe, indoor and outdoor seating areas, a spacious desk, minibar, snacks, and eco-friendly bathroom products.

It is the only lodge where guests can add an additional adventure activity per night’s stay in place of one game drive, allowing for two game drives per day or one game drive and one adventure activity.
