Mashatu Lodge is located on the eastern fringes of the Kalahari Desert, where water is its most precious resource.

Fourteen luxury suites line the camp’s perimeter, each designed to provide absolute privacy and a seamless connection with the bush and its inhabitants. Guests can watch elephants splashing in the waterhole, listen to the melodic call of the woodlands kingfisher perched above, breathe in the grassy scent of the bushveld, and touch the bark of ancient trees while inhaling air so pure, it’s intoxicating.

Each air-conditioned suite at Mashatu Lodge is tastefully decorated, featuring impressive black-and-white prints of Africa’s magnificent wildlife. A double bed and an extra-large single bed, along with a seating area that includes a day bed, comfortably accommodate families. The spacious en-suite bathroom includes both bath and shower facilities, as well as a separate W.C., completing the well-appointed suite.

Two large swimming pools serve as focal points for cooling off and relaxing between game drives.

Meals are a sumptuous celebration of traditional African cuisine – flavorful yet unpretentious. Fresh fruits, vegetables, homemade breads and pies, succulent meats, and delightful desserts appeal to those who appreciate home-style cooking at its finest.
